NOLA and Nonni

Lil M and I traveled to NOLA to see Nonni this week, for a little vacation. We're having fun. :) I'll get some pics uploaded tomorrow, and need to get the camcorder back on the charger tonight. We went and had Begnets and coffee after we had shrimp and catfish for dinner. Yum. Nonni and I stayed up until an obscenely late time last night, but it was worth it to catch up!

This is our first time down here and we are enjoying it. It's gorgeous weather and I wish it wasn't such a short visit! Lil M is loving the Mississippi and she loved the ferry ride over to Jackson Park and dinner. We also rode a street car and she loved that. I took a little video of them sitting on the Monument to Immigrants, which was very cool. :)

We will likely need a vacation from our vacation by the time we get home. LOL

Peace.

I'll bet Little Mia had a BALL in LA (not Los Angeles) with you! I've always wanted to go there and check out some of there beautiful architecture. Do post some pics if you have them.

Next time you should travel to my country: the magical land of Arumba. Here you can work as a guest-servant in my enchanted palace, which happens to be a mansion with a thousand luxurious sleeping quarters. (You're not allowed to live inside the palace because I don't know you that well. There's a nice motel by the village. Tell Lutwig I sent you.)

When you arrive, I shall invoke upon thee the title Chauffeur and Galley Slave of His Lordship Tom, Master and Patriarch of Arumbian Armed Forces and Other Stuff. Because you are a member of the royal entourage, you will have special privileges that few Arumbians can enjoy, such as full access to a housekeeping cart, our complete line of Bottled Odors of Arumba, all-you-can-eat feline McMuffins (a delicacy), proper phlegm management courses, and a signed copy of Armando: The Leprechaun Rackateer by world renowned torturer Granpappy G-Dawg (required reading).

If you carry out your responsibilities in a manner that I deem worthy of recognition, I shall award thee one mango and one (and NO MORE than 1!) Rambuton.

So patiently await for my summons in the land of Kentucky. You might want to fire off some ammo before you leave for Arumba. We only allow bows and arrows here.

Carry on.

His Lordship Thomas of Arumba

A couple of things I should mention.

1) Being a king does not mean you're always going to get your way. The jester, who replaced Gretchen last week, had trouble taking dictation and juggling at the same time.

It should read: "...their beautiful architecture." And instead of invoke, the word I dictated was "bestow."
