I've been at a bit of a loss these past couple of weeks for some reason. In writing, I mean.
Life is moving right along and we're doing alright here. I have a new title at work, but no more money (yet?)... new boss has had us all towing the line and working more. Thank God I work close to home.
Lil M is doing fine. She moved up to the next room at DC. She can write her name. She knows how to spell her first and last name. She has been overnight accident free (except 2 times) since the end of January. So, she is potty trained. She can count to 20 (misses 16) and count backwards from 8. She is learning how to play a matching game with T. She knows all her colors and basic shapes. She knows her alphabet and can recognize her letters A-Z almost every single time (she might miss a couple)...including upper and lowercase letters. She speaks in full sentences and talked up a storm at home. She speaks in multiple sentences, too. We can understand her 99% of the time (some others might say 75% of the time).
She says: Please, Mommy can I have/do/etc *fill in the blank*, please. (yes, she says it twice, when she's using her manners).
She mimics Mommy by saying "Come on people"... to the other drivers on the road who are not moving.
She still loves Meow and Monkey the best.
She's still a Mommy's girl, and very protective.
She is still 28.5 lbs or so, wearing a 3T top and 2T/3T bottom... almost all into a 3T now. She's moved up to a size 6 toddler shoe, after wearing a 5.5 for what seems like a year. She likes to play dress up and has been wearing the same dress over her clothes (after school) for over a week now. I must get a pic of that. LOL
Peace.
Happy Birthday To Me

Little Mia is a smart baby. No joking around about this. I think the day she goes off to school for the first time, she'll be ahead of the other kids in her class. Maybe down the line, you can gradually introduce her to the alphabet. All in due time, of course.
Question: do you carry Vidal Sassoon Shampoo in Kentucky? Do you know where I can find one? Toby wont trust his hairy little self to another brand.
I know that in your neck of the woods you have Roughrider Shampoo and Conditioner, Mountainman Moisturizers, and Cousin Bumpkin's Organic Care for Dreadlocks. But I'm looking for Vidal Sassoon (Shampoo) for pets. Drop me a line please if you know anything about it.
Tonight, I was watching the movie Pale Horsy: The Story of Alexander the Anemic Clydesdale. Anyway, the DVD had a scratch in it so I was unable to finish watching it through the end. Have you ever seen it? I got as far as the scene where Tucker walked up to Delmont and said, "If I ever catch you near my waf again, I'm gonna embarrass you in front of your dogs!" And then Delmont backed away silently, shaken by horrifying threat. I sure would like to know how it ended.
I know for a fact that in Kentucky, you NEVER embarrass a man in front of his dogs, otherwise the dogs will lose all respect for you. And if they lose respect for you, pretty soon they start to snicker behind your back or go potty in places you brush your teeth in.
Like old man Jofestuss once said, "If you dogs don't respect you, who will?"
