Bunny Bunny

Well, Easter is almost upon us. I haven't made any Easter baskets yet, but I was thinking I should do that by Saturday. We're doing Easter at home this year, not that we do a whole lot, but we might go to church down the street and then have dinner with family later that day.

This past couple of weeks have been busy and long for all of us. We've had a couple of issues to take care of, but things are definitely better. And the weather! Oh, my how wonderful is that!! It's gorgeous outside today! It feels like spring!!! :)

Last night we had dinner with our favorite MK's and B (the sister/auntie) and that was awesome. They are just the best friends. Then we went and got some coffee and just goofed off. Lil M and T were both trying to get Mommy to play duck-duck goose at the coffee shop (outside, of course)... they were killing me! LOL. It was pretty hysterical. And to top it off, I had let Lil M wear her "squeaky shoes" yesterday. We were a sight, I'm sure! Then we drove around for a bit, while singing to a CD in the car... all at the top of our lungs. Good times.

I think we all needed to blow off a little bit of steam and just have some fun. So, we did. :)

Tonight is a hair appt for me, and I told T she could bring a friend along... today seems to be a bit more calm than it has been, so that's good. I hope it continues and I can get home to make dinner before going to the hair salon.

All is well here, I guess, is the point. :) I hope it is SPRING where you are and you are having a blessed week!

Peace.

It sure is nice to blow off steam, especially if things have been a bit chaotic during the past few weeks. The good news is that you (the family) seem to be more stabilized and tension-free. I'm really happy to hear that the challenges you were facing have been dealt with accordingly, and you guys can move on to enjoying a beautiful,spring-like day:0)

Speaking of hair appointments, I SO need to get mine done. I was thinking of doing something fabulouth this time; something that would break the pattern of monotony. Sebastian Pleasing, who is the first metrosexual to talk with a deep voice, has some great advice on how to look fabulouth this eethter season :

1) Earrings. Helloooo?? Bling bling calling! Sebastien recommends that we wear earrings that will complement our necks, not our ears. And we can choose from a whole variety that don't necessarily have to be diamond or pearl studded. He said it could be something as adorable as Goofy or bunny earrings. Oh they're so cute.

2) Dressing appropriately does not mean Amish attire. In an email response to a question I posted on his website, Sebastian told me that I should allow a little plunge in the neckline to keep the attention on me, but to not over do it. He told me to be Scarlett Johansson sexy, NOT Lady Gaga trashy. So true.

3) Shoes. Seb has always told his readership that simplicity does not mean banality. He says that a pair of low heel pumps are OK, but just as appropriate to wear this Easter are Easy Spirits or a cute pair of slip-on moccasins. He did suggest that we follow Pat Robertson's advice of refraining from wearing high heels on religious holidays.

4) Cosmetics. Go NUTS with these! Yes, Sebastien says we can wear ALL the make up we want on Easter. He wrote to me: "Girlfriend, you only live once, so if you want to glam your face this Eater, you do it, girl! You do it!"

Oh Sebastien, is there anything you don't know?

Anyhoo, happy Easter to you, Mia and T!

Oh, look at what I did. I let my lisp come out again in words like "fabulouth" (which is "fabulous"), and "eethter" (which is "Easter").

Also misspelled Easter at the bottom. Thilly me!
