Kaz and other news

So, I guess Kazakhstan is stopping new adoptions for now, in an effort to become Hague compliant. That's just the third in the list of stressful things today... the first two are much closer to home.

I'm sending up some prayers for someone close whose company is doing layoffs today. Praying to God they aren't affected. And the third is about some decision(s) that T has made that could impact her in the long run. I'm praying that I can stay sane and get through it with, and for, her. The bad thing is that her agency hasn't been as helpful this week as I hoped.

As for this Kaz stuff, this bums me out. I guess this is a door that has closed for me, for now, and I was really hoping it would stay open. Although, I do realize that it is unrealistic for me to start a 2nd adoption right now. It'll have to wait until later this year or later. But I'm still praying. Trying to figure out what to do.

Peace.
