Out with the old

I mentioned almost two months ago that my boss was fired. Well, today, we got a new boss. He seems OK at first glance... here's hoping he's OK for the long run! I liked the fact that he clearly has an IT background and that he seems to value QA. That's good for me. Not so good for others who don't much like change, or QA. Of course, I could be wrong. I often am. But this seemed OK today.

I think T is mad at me for making her study her Chemistry. She doesn't like it and finds it pointless. After trying to explain how none of it is pointless, today I just had to say... just do it. It's important and you need the grade. She has a test on Wed., so let's see how that goes. She does need this grade.

Lil M did not take a nap at DC today and was a bit fussy tonight. Fussy in the sense that she cried when she got in the car and I wouldn't give her her picture she colored (it's all relative) because it was SO FRIGGING COLD and I just wanted to get in the car... she actually cried over that. WOW. That just doesn't happen. She was tired. Poor thing...

Me, I'm tired today, too. The only thing I *have* to get done is putting the trash out, then off to bed. Oh boy.
